Motivational Yes! Inspirational Yes!
This is one fantastic article. I listened to Admiral McRaven’s speech, and I will start making my bed every morning moving forward.
I generally leave it in shambles, but the reason he gave was so much better than any I have ever been told! Having a feeling of accomplishment at the start of the day even if it is a small task, is the inspiration for the rest of the day and the tasks you face.
I will be looking for more inspirational speeches. I feel there are many things I could be doing, little things that may seem insignificant. I got a lot from Admiral McRaven.
Thank you so much for this wonderful article.

Thank You Stacie for taking the time to comment on my article.
Admiral McRaven took on the toughest training programs one could possibly volunteer themselves for. Entrance into BUD’s training is completely voluntary. This means he was not ordered, he was not told, he volunteered for entrance into that program. That coupled with him actually surviving to the end of the course speaks to his character as a person, someone who never gives up.
In watching this commencement speech, you heard one of many his many life examples he shares in his writings.
I am pleased you found value in my article. Everyone could use a bit of motivation from time to time. Admiral McRaven just served up a healthy dose.
Have a Good Day, And make that bed!
